MANCHESTER – Senator Maggie Hassan today participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Advanced Solutions Life Sciences – a global leader in 3D bioprinting – where she commended the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) for its expansion and highlighted the importance of supporting innovative businesses that are creating jobs in the Granite State while encouraging scientific discovery and improving public health.

“Innovative businesses like Advanced Solutions Life Sciences are helping to create highly-skilled manufacturing jobs here in New Hampshire, while advancing technology in a way that can greatly benefit all of humanity and improve public health,” Senator Hassan said. “As Governor, I was proud to join with Senator Shaheen to support and encourage the Department of Defense to establish ARMI in Manchester, and I am pleased that with today’s ribbon-cutting we are seeing ARMI’s growth and continued progress toward ensuring that New Hampshire is a leader in the 21st century innovation economy.”

Advanced Solutions Life Sciences is a member of the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI), which opened last year in Manchester with the support and encouragement of Senator Hassan. As Governor of New Hampshire, Senator Hassan joined Senator Shaheen in urging the Department of Defense to locate ARMI in Manchester because of the city’s history of innovation, potential for partnerships with local universities, and the robust pipeline of students educated in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Advanced Solutions Life Sciences is a global leader in 3D biofabrication.
