WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) today introduced the Opioid Response Enhancement Act to help states and tribal communities better fight the opioid epidemic that is ravaging communities and families across this country. Shaheen & Hassan Help Secure Agreement to Increase Funding for Opioid Response Efforts & Improve Funding Formula To Prioritize New Hampshire
(Washington, DC)—U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) issued the following statement after helping to secure an agreement to provide an additional $6 billion to respond to the opioid epidemic over the next two years, with $3 billion being provided each year.
