In HELP Hearing, Sen. Hassan Presses Opioid Distributor Rep on DEA’s Enforcement Authority

In a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing today, Senator Maggie Hassan pressed a representative from the national organization representing primary pharmaceutical distributors on the industry’s efforts to undermine the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) authority to crack down on opioid distributors.
