DOVER - Today, Senator Maggie Hassan visited Cramer Fabrics, an innovative New Hampshire business that is developing and manufacturing highly engineered industrial textiles for use across the globe. Senator Hassan received a briefing on Cramer Fabrics' work and a tour of the facility, where she learned about how Cramer Fabrics is partnering with education systems to strengthen their workforce.

"We know that supporting innovative businesses is essential to developing a 21st century economy where all Granite Staters have the opportunity to thrive, and Cramer Fabrics is helping to move New Hampshire's workforce and economy forward," said Senator Maggie Hassan. "I appreciated the opportunity to visit Cramer Fabrics and learn more about how they are partnering with local educators to encourage students to pursue careers in advanced manufacturing."

"It was a pleasure to meet Senator Hassan and help her better understand the work that we do at Cramer Fabrics," said General Manager Annette Studebaker. "We also discussed the ways in which Senator Hassan can help support our work here in New Hampshire as we continue to invest in bringing good manufacturing jobs to the state."

Cramer Fabrics produces high-quality, woven industrial fabrics with a vast array of synthetic yarn types that are used in everything from conveyor belts to aerospace parts. They also have an in-house training program and an apprenticeship program, where they encourage local graduates to pursue careers in the textile industries.
